The interior of each lodge has been designed to provide comfort and luxury. Heating is underfloor electric, with each room having a thermostat to provide complete control of the local environment. Underfloor heating provides many advantages over traditional radiator based systems. It is more comfortable to have a constant, evenly distributed temperature than it is to have a single high temperature heat source such as a radiator in the corner of the room. Underfloor heating drastically reduces air circulation and resulting cold drafts. Consequently it is possible to achieve comfortable conditions with a cooler air temperature, making underfloor heating more energy efficient. In addition, as the underfloor heating system does not require radiators, it gives the further advantage of extra living space and flexibility in positioning furniture.

Floor space - Each lodge provides 67sq.m of accommodation.

Living area - 5.94m x 4.35m to 5.75m

Open plan with vaulted ceiling and full length windows overlooking the exterior decking. This area is the home’s focus, combining generous kitchen, dining and sitting accommodation in a light and airy environment. There is a Sky Freeview Digibox for the TV and the option of a telephone/broadband connection.

Each lodge also has a hallway, a second WC with hand basin, and a large cupboard with plumbing to house a washing machine and tumble drier. Externally, there is a spacious verandah at the front. You also have the option of a store for outdoor equipment.

To make it easier for you to fit-out your lodge, we have found a local supplier who can offer an interior design and furnishing package for flooring, lighting, beds, cutlery, crockery, dining furniture and living room furniture.
